The Cat-Friendly Alternative to Boarding MAGGIE AND BEAU
If you have business trips to make, or you simply want a few days' break, maybe we can help. Most cats are territorial and appreciate the comfort, familiarity and security of their own surroundings. We can care for your cats in the comfort of their own home as we know this is where they are happiest.
- To leave extra biscuits and water is really not an option. How long will the food last - does the cat next door visit and help itself? What if your cat loses the collar with the magnet and is locked out? By the time you return he's hungry and confused. No hero's welcome for you then!
- Hungry is bad enough, but an accident or sudden illness would be worse. What if your cat needed unexpected veterinary treatment in your absence, if time was of the essence and no-one knew how to contact you?
- We at Catering For Cats will check daily on your pet's well-being. Quite often we can resolve a problem ourselves, being cat lovers and owners for many years. Once we know a cat, we can quickly spot any changes in appetite, behaviour or general appearance. We would never call a vet until we had discussed any problem with the owner, or someone named by the owner to act 'in loco parentis' so to speak. If you are away for any length of time, we can text you, if you like, to assure you that your cat is well and happy. Upon leaving, we leave a note itemising any points we think the owner should know about.
